After so much anticipation, Microsoft is demonstrating its Surface Hub 2 device for the first time today, 24th September 2018. It was introduced at the Microsoft Ignite Conference. It is the first time Microsoft is revealing some of the software that will power it. In the demonstration, Microsoft’s representatives used a 50-inch rotating display to show off the swiftness and smoothness of the animations that let content move on the display.

It is supposed to be a part of Microsoft’s new Windows Core OS (WCOS) to modularize its operating system to run as clever modes on clever hardware. The company has been working for years on WCOS and its Composable Shell (C-Shell) and these efforts will allow Windows to run on the new hardware.

In today’s demo, Microsoft has also mentioned how Surface 2 Hub will handle multiple users with the help of its fingerprint sensor.
